Balkan Township got the 75% MN Border-to-Border Grant for fiber Broadband!

Balkan heard last week from Paul Bunyan Communications IT Manager, Steve Howard, that we will receive the low-density pilot program grant from MN Border-to-Border grants. This is exciting! Now we have to drum up some money from IRRRB and St Louis County.

Thanks for all of the letters you wrote to promote our application for the grant! It took 3 1/2 years of planning, meeting and networking about how to deploy fiber broadband in Balkan.
